Announcement PDF 4 June 2025 ASX RELEASE Plenti announced as administrator and financier for WA Residential Battery Scheme Plenti Group Limited (Plenti) announces that it has been advised by the Western Australian Government that it intends to appoint Plenti as administrator and financier for Western Australia’s Residential Battery Scheme, a key initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of batteries across the state. Under the scheme, eligible Western Australian households can access rebates towards the cost of installing a solar battery system of up to $1,300 for Synergy customers and up to $3,800 for Horizon Power customers, depending on the size of the battery. No-interest loans for up to $10,000 will also be available to households with a combined gross annual income of less than $210,000. Plenti’s appointment reinforces its position as a leader in financing household electrification, with a proven track record of delivering clean energy funding to households across Australia. The role also aligns with Plenti’s strategy to leverage its proprietary technology platform to partner with large organisations to deliver market-leading financing solutions for consumers. The scheme will see Plenti work closely with the government, energy retailers and accredited vendors to ensure streamlined access to the rebate and finance to help participants looking to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint.
